June 23, 2007

On Saturday Afternoon, Wagon 503 (Asst. Chief Hoffman, DPO Johnson and FF Wemyss and Trainees Miller and Campbell) responded to the interstate for a vehicle fire reported at the 152 Mile Marker. While responding we were advised that an updated location was going to be Southbound near the entrance to the Truck Scales. As we proceeded north from Dumfries Rd we spotted a well involved vehicle at the corrected location. Utilizing the HOV turnaround since traffic was stopped we headed southbound and arrived on scene with 1 vehicle well involved and attacked the fire with th 1 3/4 jumpline off of the bumper. The fire was quickly extinguished and Wagon 503 cleared a short time later. All photos by FF Trainee J Campbell...
