A second alarm was struck for 3545 Christy Lane in Company 20's area with Engine 520 and Medic 552 arriving on scene with fire through the roof of an end unit townhouse. Fire appeared to start on the deck and spread up the rear of the house and into the roof area. Engine 20's crew got a quick knock from the exterior and placed their line onto the exposure. Engine 517 arrived and took the RIT assignment and Battalion 507 was assigned Charlie Division with Battalion 506 operating Fire Attack. Truck 503 arrived on the scene and remained in staging until being placed in service. Command eventually released the 2nd alarm and held 2 and 1 for the remainder until the arrival of the fire marshal.
