At 2045 hours on Monday, Units were dispatched to an overturned tractor-trailer on I-95 southbound at mile marker 152. W503 (OIC-Sgt Davis, D/O-Lt Reha, FF's-Mangan, Darrah, Valentine) marked on scene with an overturned tractor-trailer hauling trash into the guardrail and blocking three lanes of I-95. An off duty police officer advised the driver was out. We shut down I-95 Southbound, started assessing the patient and started checking for hazards. We advised BC507 (Chief Young) there was no entrapment and he placed T503 (Capt Redmon, Lt Kortuem, FF's Luellen, Griffin, Kestner) in service. R510 continued in to assist with lighting and checking for hazards. The tractor was leaking a small amount of fluids, but was to unstable for us to mitigate the leaks, so R510 cleared while W503 stayed on scene with the towing company to watch for any leaks. Once they towing company had the vehicle stabilized and the leaks secured, we turned the scene over to VSP and VDOT and cleared at 2218 hours.

Units: W503, M553, T503, R510, BC507
