At approximately 3:00 AM units were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Wanda Lane just off of Cardinal Dr. Engine 517 (D/O Campbell, FF Fricke and FF Del Sol)arrived on the scene with fire showing from sides A,B and C and a vehicle in the driveway. After laying a line into the cul de sac, a duece and a half was pulled by Acting Officer Fricke and FF Del Sol and a defensive fire attack was started to knock down the bulk of the fire which was starting to run the roofline. Ambulance 517 also arrived and took care of hooking up the Humat valve at the hydrant so a water supply could be established immediately. Battalion 507( Hoffman) arrived on the scene and established Wanda Command on Side A at the buggy. Engines 510 and 513 arrived shortly after and Engine 10 backed up the water supply while the crews reported to the command post. An 1 3/4 line was pulled to the interior and Tower 512 and Truck 503 arrived and were assigned to take care of the primary and secondary searches, utilities, ventilation and pulling ceilings on the second level. An all clear was given and the fire marshal was requested. Total time to extinguish the fire was less than 30 minutes. Everyone on the scene did a good job and worked together to get the fire under control and minimize the damage to the house.

Units: Engine 517, Engine 513, Engine 510, Tower 512, Truck 503, Ambulance 517, Battalion 507, Chief 503, Captain 503 and PWC Fire Marshals as well as PWC Police.
