| Units from DTVFD responded to reports of a townhouse fire early this morning. Engine 523 & 503B were first units on the scene with one townhouse fully involved and exposures on both sides. After an initial search with hand lines, DTVFD and PWCF&R units made an aggressive attack to the interior and exterior as other units arrived.
Volunteer and career personnel combined to stop the fire spread and minimize property damage. Two families were displaced and were assisted by relatives and the Red Cross as needed.
The cause of the fire has not been determined as of posting.
