| At 11:51 hours Wagon 503 was dispatched to 3235 Riverview Dr. for a reported vehicle fire. Wagon 503 (Lt. Gudaitis, DPO L. Campbell, FF B. Campbell and FF Richmond) arrived on scene at 11:56 hours and found an RV with fire showing from the engine compartment extending to the interior of the RV and a truck parked in front of the RV. Wagon 503 made the request for an additional engine company; communications then added Wagon 510. Battalion 507 (Martin) and Chief 503 (Young) also responded to the scene. The fire was quickly brought under control with a 1 3/4 " attack line from Wagon 503, preventing the fire from spreading through the RV and onto the house approximately 20 feet from the vehicle. Due to the unknown cause of the fire and the owners of the vehicle not being home a fire marshal was requested to the scene to investigate. Wagon 510 assisted with water supply and was clear of the scene within approximately 20 minutes. Wagon 503 cleared at 13:25 hours. |
