Car Fire on I-95 South

On Saturday, July 31, after clearing an apartment fire in the 2700 block of Landings Point Loop, Engine 503B had just returned to quarters when the tones dropped for a vehicle fire on Interstate 95 South at the 150 mile marker.

E503 closed the right lane of travel and made a quick attack on a late model GMC SUV. After it was determined all occupants had made it out of the vehicle, they were located a safe distance away. After being checked for injuries, they were released to Troopers by the engine crew.

E503B cleared the scene after refilling with water a short time later.
