Firefighters and Emergency Services providers from across the National Capital Region, joined together at the Occoquan Woodbridge Lorton Station 2, on Friday, March 12. Each year the OWLVFD holds a fundraiser for the St. Baldrick's Foundation; a group who helps fund research in the fight against childhood cancer.

DTVFD members M. Nordin, T. Johnson, M. Frezza, J. Mangan, S. Hull, J. Brennan, and B. Huffman, had their heads shaved and raised just over $3,000 in on-line and cash donations. This added to the total amount collected at the event which was over $30,000, exceeding the goal of $20,000.

Firefighters from Marine Corps Air Facility (Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting) joined with DTVFD members for a night of bald heads and good laughs. Good times were had by all in support of a very noble cause.
