At 12:45 PM, Engine 503 was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on Purvis Drive. Upon arrival a white Dodge Neon was spotted with flames coming from the passenger and engine compartments.

FF's Frezza and Nordin deployed the bumper line, with FF Mangan opening the hood and windows. After a quick knockdown, the owner gathered his belongings while E503's crew cleaned up.

The wrecker service arrived to remove the vehicle and E503 went ready at 2:10 PM.
