While Company 3 units were on the working garage fire in Quantico Engine 517 was dispatched to Mine Road on a hazard call. Upon arrival they had a rather large tree which was being cut by a contractor that had fallen into the house. Utilities were secured and everyone was evacuated from the area involved while the crew investigated further. A building inspector was requested and later condemned the structure due to the extensive damage. Crews worked quickly and cautiously to secure and relocate items in the house so there would be no further property damage. Rehab 503 also supplied the crews with cold drinks as the wait time for the utility companies and building inspector kept them on scene for a prolonged time period. There were no injuries to residents or firefighters.
