| On Sunday February 8th, 2009 at approx. 1pm ET our very own Engine 503, Tanker 503, Brush 503, Capt. 503 (BAT 507F), and Chief 503 responded to Mile Marker 24 on Joplin Rd. for a report of multiple outside fires. Upon arrival Chief 503 assumed Command and determined that there were approx. 10 small brush fires along a 1 mile stretch of road. One of the fires began to threaten a house which initiated a full compliment box alarm response. Another one of the fires involved a small shed which was quickly extinguished.
Excellent work by Lt. Reha, Sgt. Griffin, and their entire crew 4 duty personnel and all others who came out to help that day.
