| Services were held Saturday November 22, 2008 for Technician Cecilia Turnbough, who died in the Line of Duty, while participating in Firefighter training at the Prince William County Public Safety Academy on November 9, 2008. Units from throughout the region were in attendance for the ceremony and the procession which followed after. Command 503 and Assistant Chief 503 assisted and established a command post to help coordinate all of the units in the procession. The procession stretched from Hylton Chapel down to dale Blvd and past Station 10 and then through the flag arch at Station 18. The procession then made its way down Hillendale and into the parking lot there for a reception.
Our condolences to the Turnbough family and our brothers and sisters at the DCVFD on your loss. The ceremony and procession were a great tribute. |
