| Today turned into a great day for a little friendly paintball action between DTVFD and DCVFD. About 20 or so members from each department joined up for some much needed relief after a long couple of weeks. The action started about 9:30 at Pevs paintball facilities in Aldie. A slight late start occurred due to a vehicle accident in front of the facility with 3 patients which were immediately assisted by DTVFD and DCVFD until Loudon County Units arrived to take over the scene. Once we got the action going, The two teams, now Red and Green, respectively made there way to the fort at the top of the hill for some warm ups and a little safety briefing. It wasn't long before the paintballs were flying. Additional fields played were the fort with some capture the flag, the rock field and the city streets. After about 20,000 paintballs were expended, it was around 1 pm and time to come off the field and enjoy a little lunch and call it a day. All in all, everyone had a great time and talks were already under way to do it again. Maybe a little PWC VFD tournament in the making, who knows???? We will have to see.....
