At approximately 0430 Sunday morning, Engine 503B (D/O Hailey, OIC Lillie, and FF Hewlett), Medic 503, and Ambulance 517B, were alerted for a stabbing on Dumfries Rd. near the Waffle House/Days Inn.

While units were enroute, county communications received reports of two aditional patients that may have possibly been stabbed and added Medic 512 to the call. Police cleared all staged units to come in to the scene where they had located two patients with the third still at large.

Rescue Chief 517 arrived and requested a helicopter and Engine 503B to set up an LZ. However, due to thick fog in the area all helicopters were unavailable. Medic 503 then ground transported to a local trauma center. Police later located the third patient which Medic 512 and Engine 503B checked for injuries. In all one patient was transported ALS and two were turned over to Prince William Police.

Units: E503B, M503, M512, A517B, and RC517
