At approximately 6:48 PM Sunday evening, as E503's crew (DPO Kim, OIC Luellen, FF Campbell, FF Santiago, RH Reusch) was just sitting down to a steak dinner, the tones dropped for a reported auto accident involving a motorcycle off of Possum Point Rd. AC 503 advised E503 to divert to Cockpit Road. E503 arrived on scene at 6:55 PM to find the accident involving a head on accident between a Ford Ranger and a motorcycle. Upon impact the motorcycle rider was thrown onto the shoulder of the road. Due to the severity of injuries and the mechanism of injury, a helicopter was requested. TW512 was diverted to handle the LZ on the helipad at the Possum Point Power Plant. Patient was transported by M503 to the LZ where Helicopter LifeEvac 2 transported the patient to FFX Hospital. E503 cleared the scene at 7:39 PM.
