At 6:52pm Ladder Truck 3 of the Dumfries-Triangle VFD was dispatched to the report of a townhouse fire in company 2's area. Units arrived on scene with fire through the roof of an unoccupied townhouse and extention to neighboring townhouses. Ladder truck 3 assumed the second truck assignment. With the first in ladder truck assigned to both primary searches and rooftop ventilation, Truck Company 3 threw multiple ladders to the fire building and neighboring exposures. Dumfries Volunteers operated for 6 hours before being placed back in service.
