On 6/23/2015 at Approx. 9:30pm Dumfries-Triangle Volunteer Fire Dept responded to 16847 Toms River Loop in Dumfries, VA for a report of a fire in a bedroom in company 23's first due. Truck 503 was the first unit on scene with smoke showing from the roof on side Alpha. All occupants evacuated and were accounted for. The truck company laddered the structure, located the fire room, and began suppression efforts until Engine 510 was able to get a line in place. The fire was quickly knocked down while units checked for extension and executed primary and secondary searches of all floors. The fire was contained to a bedroom with no injuries on the fire ground. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
