On Saturday, April 19, 2014, officers from DTVFD, observed DTVFD recruits participating in live automotive fire training. Combined with trainees from other departments, these participants are currently enrolled in the Firefighter I and II certification classes at the Public Safety Academy in Nokesville, VA. Vehicle Fire

DTVFD Volunteers, January 20

Around 3:30am on 1/20/2014 Engine 503B was dispatched to a possible vehicle fire off of Mine Road. While en route additional information stated that a witness noticed a vehicle on fire in a driveway. Upon arrival Lt. Hall confirmed a working vehicle fire with fire coming from the rear of the vehicle. At approx 1920 hours units were dispatched to a multi-car accident on Interstate 95 at at mile-marker 148. While responding the call was updated to a person over the bridge at Quantico Creek. Units from Quantico MCB, Stafford, PWC, DTVFD and Dale City were en-route. BATT531 and T531 marked on scene confirming one patient was over the jersey wall with a 30 foot plus drop from the road.
