Vehicle Rescue and Extrication Training at DTVFD

- Firefighters from Dumfries-Triangle, Coles District and Occoquan-Lorton-Woodbridge participated in a two day vehicle rescue and extrication course the weekend of September 17 and 18. Townhouse Fire in Box 1207

- At 0100, on Friday, October 07, units were dispatched to a townhouse fire in the 14000 block of Winding Loop in Woodbridge. OWL Engine 512 marked on the scene with fire on side A of a three level end unit townhouse. E512 held at the door and fought the fire while waiting for additional units. - On Saturday, September 10th, DTVFD members of Crew 1 donned pink shirts in support of Alyssa. Alyssa is the daughter of one of their own and DTVFD firefighter Mike. Mike and his wife have been at Alyssa's side for several months through various treatments and recovery periods as she fights childhood leukemia.
