Tree Causes Outside Fire

On Saturday, around midnight, Engine 503 responded to an outside fire in the vicinity of Potomac Crest Drive and Fuller Heights Road. Upon arrival the crew noticed a burning smell and a haze in the woods behind some houses. The engine crew split into two groups to investigate the location and source. Severe flooding On Mine Road in Dumfries

On June 27, 2015 at 1600 E503 was returning from a car accident on Interstate 95 when the engine noticed high water on Mine Road. Engine 503 stopped to help close Mine Road when they noticed a car submerged in the high water. Engine 503 further investigated the submerged car to find that all occupants were able to self rescue. Early Morning Auto Accident on Interstate 95

On 6/25/2015 at Approx. 1:15AM Dumfries-Triangle Volunteer Fire Dept. units responded to an auto accident on I-95 Southbound at Mile-marker 152. Upon arrival units found three vehicles involved, a small car and two tractor trailers. The small car was heavily damaged with one occupant being trapped and needing extrication. On 6/23/2015 at Approx. 9:30pm Dumfries-Triangle Volunteer Fire Dept responded to 16847 Toms River Loop in Dumfries, VA for a report of a fire in a bedroom in company 23's first due. On June 11, 2015, members of the Dumfries-Triangle Volunteer Fire Department traveled to Ocala, Florida to conduct a pre-final inspection of a new custom apparatus being built by E-One.
