January Call Surge in 2010
JANUARY 18
- This past weekend Dumfries-Triangle Volunteers ran over 20 calls over a 45 hour timeframe. The majority of the calls included medical, fire service, and investigative calls. Basement Fire in River Ridge
DECEMBER 28
- At approximately 12:30 a.m., Monday morning, tones dropped for a reported house fire in Company 3's first due. While responding, units were told by Prince William County Communications that the homeowner advised that the fire was in the basement. - Between December 18-19, 2009 the National Capital Region came under severe winter storm conditions. Prince William County received reports of 15-20 inches of snow in a 24 hour period crippling transportation and hampering emergency response efforts.
