On Sunday June 5th at 11:30 an SUV took the 152 exit northbound at a high rate of speed, lost control, and hit a jersey barrier then crashed into a tree. The first arriving unit on scene saw one vehicle off the shoulder into the grass. Upon further investigation one of the firefighters noticed that there was a 6ft drop off on the right side of the vehicle. The tree that was struck was the only thing holding the vehicle in place. Hazard was mitigated and patients tended to and units placed back in service.
