| Firefighters from Dumfries-Triangle, Coles District and Occoquan-Lorton-Woodbridge participated in a two day vehicle rescue and extrication course the weekend of September 17 and 18. Training began with classroom instruction and discussion which was followed with hands on application on several different models and makes of vehicles. Firefighters reviewed the basics, various extrication equipment, single and multiple vehicle scenarios, alternative methods and more importantly, working together as a team rather than individual departments.
