| At approximately 8:00PM on Saturday night Tanker 503 (K503) was dispatched from Station 3 Fire to assist with a house fire in the Lake Jackson community near Manassas, VA. Upon arrival units reported the house to be fully involved. Due to the rural nature of this community initial water supply was an issue but was quickly remedied by the influx of multiple fire tankers to the scene to include our own K503. However, this was not your normal house fire as the house was located at the end of a long and winding Cobb Rd. which made fireground activities difficult but not insurmountable. After the units extinguished the fire (Surround and drown), the crews started picking up equipment and hoselines and began the arduous process of backing out the many apparatus used at the scene. A few apparatus initially had difficulty getting out due to the wet roads but finally made it out.
