Quantico Fire & EMS operates three engine companies, two truck companies, two medic units, a rescue, a hazmat, and several other support vehicles and trailers to include water rescue/recovery, and technical rescue out of 3 stations with over 90 personnel on a two platoon schedule.
The department provides primary fire and EMS services for over 102 sq miles of the Marine Corps Base Quantico, which is also home to the FBI and DEA National Academies, Marine Corps Heritage Museum and HMX-1 Presidential Helicopter Squadron.
Quantico Fire $ EMS also provides mutual aid to Stafford and Prince William Counties, Virginia and Charles County, Maryland on the Potomac River.
