On Nov. 5, 2017 at 2217 E503 responded to a hydrant hit by a car. Arrival on scene revealed that a work van ran over the hydrant and broke off the stem causing water to quickly start filling the street. PWC Public Service Authority was called and they quickly came out and shut off the water. Afterwards E503's crew helped cordon off the area to make sure no one fell into the newly formed sink hole caused by the water pressure.

Units: E503, Prince William PD, PSA
